PSC “rethinks” language fines in its election manifesto

A slightly bizarre rethink from the PSC, where they’ve decided that language fines are not such a good idea. So instead of eliminating them, their idea is to convince people to follow the law willingly. If people don’t follow willingly, then they will still be fined.

The manifest also calls for more international recognition of Catalan sports teams. I guess that means more bribes to South American countries to allow Catalunya to play hockey in the Rink Hockey American Championship.

Other items include removing the 80 km/h speed limit around Barcelona, reforming the Senate, getting rid of road-side prostitutes, and introducing some kind of health-copay for people with higher income levels.

Baby propaganda

At the hospital after the baby is born, they give you a big package of free samples and propaganda for various baby products. We have about 5 “baby on-board” stickers to choose from, depending on whether we want our baby to be a sponsor of Nestle, Dodot, etc.

My favorite was the information sheet about having your kid join FCB Barcelona:
